Soft bathtubs were introduced in the 1970s. After some years, these bathtubs were being sold by some major manufacturers in the 1990s. Soft bathtubs are made with soft materials with glossy finish. Bather would not feel cold or hard like tubs that are made with cast iron or acrylic. These bathtubs are typically made for children and older people.
